Speaker Bio:
Ustadh Suhail Hasan Mulla was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He recieved his Bachelor's Degree from California State University Northridge in African-American Studies. Subsequently he earned a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from UCLA and has worked as a social worker with the Los Angeles Unified School District since 1998.

After learning the Arabic language, Suhail began his formal studies in the Islamic Sciences. He completed a two-year Islamic Studies program at Al-Asheera Al-Muhammadiya, an Al-Azhar affiliated institute in Cairo, Egypt. He is currently pursuing a degree in Shari'ah at Al-Azhar University. In addition, he has been blessed to study with numerous Azhari scholars on an individual basis.
