@timhalbert Thanks Tim..my name isn't Bob, I just couldn't get the user name I wanted! I am her daughter. Mum told me over and over again about UB hurtling down the hill, you seeing it whilst swimming and how everyone appeared from nowhere. Word travels fast in France apparently when something like this happens! Thanks so much for getting it on film. She hasn't seen it, but I talked her through it whilst on the phone this evening. They were using a winch? They should of just hooked a couple of tractors up and slowly backed up

This is hilarious. The nice English lady is question is my mother! I have only just found this film after hearing all about the story of 'Uncle Buck' (that's the car's nickname) and my mother.....right at the end of the film laughing. She's a star! @bobopodopolos Amazing! So pleased you found this video! That was such an extraordinary afternoon, we've never forgotten it. I actually saw the car as it crashed through the fencing and rolled down (I was doing lengths in the pool at the time). Your mum was smiling and completely unphased by the whole thing, such a smashing lady! Send our best wishes!
