  • Name of the end song and/or artist? Or link to where I can get the song, its at the end of a few of your vids, and its amazing imo. Great interview btw I subbed to budd bc of it.

  • The guy's name is Gifrants, he sings in French-Creole I think. He plays in the subway stop at Harvard U. sometimes, that's where I got the CD.

  • Damn, is there anywhere you can post it for download? Im not around the east coast too often, lol. Or even if the whole song was in one of the vids I could get it from there. I would pay for it if possible; I think I have come to link that song to social philosophy and politics bc of these vids.

  • Haha I just read the translation of the song, it's titled "Making Love to You Endlessly."

You can do a quick search to find his website, and the album is called Vwa e Gita Vol I. I'll think about doing a video with the whole song.

  • Sigh, too few Noam Chomskys and people who would listen to them in the world...

  • Gotta love Chomsky, just found out that you can see his whole movie Manufacturing Consent on google video. Just a tip.

  • Agreed. Chomsky is great, and even when he passes his spirit will live on through others for a long time.

  • chosky is aging like good wine, he will be here for many years to come. i bet he will live to be over 100. just look at him, he looks really good and he is super sharp. and thanks to chomskys activism there are now thousands of little chomskys out there.

  • Indeed he is getting old. But when you consider the vast audience of people that Chomsky has inspired over his lifetime. I think there will hopefully be many who will continue in his footsteps.

I think he knows it too, what an achievement he has made ! One can only look upon to him and hope that his words reach as far as possible.

Although old, he is still an inspiration to all freedom loving socialists and workers around the world.

    Salute to you comrades

  • brilliant...I love hearing Noam Chomsky speak...you learn something every time. He's getting old though and I'm not sure there's anyone that could fill his shoes...what a shame.

  • New Labour has nothing to do with the unions in the UK any more and not since the 80s

  • Things are going backword for workers in UK, and Australia under Labor government.

  • Thanks for posting this!

One thing I would have liked to hear - what did NC think about the response to Republic Windows & Doors (it think the sit down, he's referring to). Because --- in the mainstream press--- it wasn't super negative. I thought at the time there were more expressions of sympathy than I've ever seen for a group of workers. I wonder whether NC who's always on top of the media observed the same thing? Obviously, my reading is pretty selective.

  • lol, I found and bought the song just bc it was worth it. very good, and you were right he is Haitian and sings in French Creole. Keep up the good vids.
