that way of life is not only possible, it is the way humans lived for most of their existence, and many still do--
the type of greed we see in industrial civilization is not as old as mankind--actually, far from it
according to anthropologists, however, sharing is as old as mankind
see my video "greed" on my home page for my take on this important issue
it will be our downfall only if we decide it will be
thanks for engaging in this conversation, pidner

I agree,if not for greed the way of life that you are talking about would be possible, but as you know greed is as old as mankind and I beleive will be our downfall, what a waste.

not to mention that it is virtually impossible, even with buckets of money, to "own" healthy land, air, and water, as the toxification of our environment is almost complete

My heart cries for humanity, I try to plant a seed daily with my music with my words to get people to realize what we are doing, yet I feel like nothing I say or do is helping. But I will never give up, because without hope we have nothing. This system needs to end, a new world needs to begin, so maybe everything that is happening is for a reason.
Peace

it is helping in ways you can't see--that's what the parable of the sower is about
all seeds help. even the ones that land on bare earth add nutrients to the earth, or sprout for a bit and help break up the soil.
i'm thinking you are referencing the gulf tragedy for 'everything is happening for a reason.' i hate that it has to happen this way, and would like to think this will be the last great catastrophe before this culture starts to follow a saner path
thank you for all you do
