Batcarron - An Homage to Batman, the Caped Crusader [gg revix]

spring, 2011. the official batman music video!

from the bat signal, bat pole and bat cave, to the batmobile, the red phone and the wall climb, i included the most iconic imagery from the old batman series. catwoman, riddler, the penguin, the famous bat transition, all edited into an episode-like video, complete with intro and outro.

a couple of years ago i saw a silly video, 'batman on drugs'. look it up. soon after there were remixes, longer mixes, and loops of batman doing his, er, dance.

then kamektv attempted to combine the 'chacarron' song with old episodes of batman. the video showed me the potential to create a full-fledged batman music video.

this is my homage to a camp classic. grab a hold of some 'batman special', drink up and enjoy!

I'm mixed about this. Some of the footage was just freaking hilarious like dancing Batgirl and the catapulting Dynamic Duo, but some of it made the music unnecessary. With that being said, there's probably more Bat-footage that neither of us have used yet that would fit with the chacarron.

@KamekTV it was also an attempt to create an 'episode' using varioius footage ... batman falls during dancing, robin gets the needle, so batgirl has to save them, then the evil guys get away, batman gets mixed up with his 'love', the requisite fight scene, and then the bad guys get away again, leaving batman crying.  it was less of using funny images for funniness sake and more about telling a story :) ... gg

Damn those were times :) like it still today, only with the difference that it is pretty much funnier now... that bat-aerobic-dress, the wall climb scenes with the camera turned 90 degrees and much more. Everyone who`s looking for some retro to laugh at should get the series, it`s worth it.
