Suzanna Perez plays Schubert's Sonata in D major, D850, 3rd movement, during the preliminary round of the Boston International Piano Competition, May 2007, in the Ellsworth Theatre, Pine Manor College, Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. See www.bostonpianoamateurs.org
Great technique, but too fast. This speed kills the mood of the piece. Imagine the serenity and verdancy of the Austrian countryside. The evocative mood of this piece is a country pastoral. Unfortunately with this velocity, that is unimaginable.

WONDERFUL! Powerful approach, technical virtuosity with true passion for the music. It is apparent that Ms. Perez has devoured made the literature her own and is prepared to create what the composer had intended. A beautiful and truly magnificent woman at the keyboard.
