no machination made by man can be declared a god, and must be put in its place for trying to supercede all that was naturally created. Fate is a lie, we can choose the path we walk, and we must endure what consequence that may follow. The powers that be can lay us a map for us, but we must be free to choose.

FATE was such a deep character.

FATE was probably my favorite boss, along with Dark Serge. :] They were unforgettable, that's for sure.

One of the best boss battle themes.

begining countdown: 5

I have never played a game where even the SAVE POINTS were integral to the plot. Very clever Chrono Cross. Well played.

*countdown~ .... FATE BOMB

This was a happy boss song then your teammate dies then it was an oh shit moment.

The reason this sounds tribal is because Lynx was modeled after an Aztec god of fate and darkness. I think that's kinda cool. =]

Is it just me, or does this and Chronopolis sound African influenced?

I friggin' love the song and the boss. I like how androgynous Fate looked. :D

Two people died for the countdown.
I actually really like this song.
Alot of people thought it was kind of weak for a boss theme, but I love it.
