I had no idea japan had fat girls too O.O

@Stinoism Yep, it's true. You can even find fat people in famine stricken Somalia, just not at the rates you are used to. Global obesity rates show the shades of fat around the world and the USA ranks #1 (go US exceptionalism!) with 30.6%. The UK is 3rd with 23% and Japan is 28th place (out of the 28 countries with statistics) with a meager 3.2% of the population being obese. BTW, that is 1/2 the number in 27th place switzerland.

please answer this. I read a book, and it said that students at Japanese schools always take off their shoes and put on slippers. Is that true, since your school didn't?

@MrClayCummings The students have a pair of indoor shoes that are basically never worn outside after they are purchased. They keep them at in the entrance way of the school and swap shoes when they come and go. It just isn't practical to attempt physical education class in slippers.

what qualification us needed for being a teacher there
MrAnimeanime26 4 months ago
@MrAnimeanime26 If you are a native speaker of English and have a university degree, look into the "JET Programme." If not, you can look into private companies that put teachers into public schools and see what their requirements are (they might be the same). Look into "Interac" for starters. Good luck.
