MAETAR is a Los Angeles based group fronted by brothers Itai, on bass, percussion, guitar, vocals and keyboards, and Hagai on flugelhorn, and percussion. This original composition entitled "Nine" features Hagai Izraeli on Shofar and recorders. Recorded live in front of a studio audience, no video footage was taken from a different point in time or was any of the audio edited.
Is there any more of this awesome sound of the yemenite shofar recorded by hagai?
It is awesome, never heard anything like it until now especially @ 2.06-2.11

This is a stunning raw expressive sound. Not only very creative blowing and breath control, but its a beautifully solo in its own right, regardless of the fact its a "crude" shofar. This sets a high standard to aim for as a shofar sounder. I dont understand why it hasnt been seen more....
