It's the ammo... there's a video on youtube that proves it... Remington vs. Winchester and the Remington jammed a lot

I think I heard you say you were using Remington ammo. I've heard from many other reviews of this gun that this gun does not like Remington ammo, on a second thought, I don't know too many guns that actually do like Remington ammo.

this gun is ilegal where i live

Its a Gen-3. I was just fooling around and was shooting one handed with a limp wrist and I've heard that Glocks are touchy if you don't shoot properly and I wasn't. The Glock 17 is my dad's and he bought it used. I have no idea how many rounds have been put through it, some parts may need replacing.

@MrCBRIDD Of course,it is never a Glocks fault. LOL

you actually shoot on the move pretty good. concentrate on the front sight and do small things 1 at a time and you will improve a lot faster than you think. just noticed one more thing...you have to much finger on the trigger..just place the pad of your finger on the trigger, no more than what your fingernail covers, it will reduce your influence over the gun twisting as you press the trigger towards the rear. =) nice video!
I wonder if your jams are due to not holding the gun tight enough. It has something to do with the recoil. I was told this by a gun smith. Both guns stopped jamming and my accuracy went to 85% center mass. I thought it was ammo and then the gun. Both were Taurus.

@DennyRec The Glock jamming was due to my shooting, I was just fooling around and not shooting with a limp wrist and that was the problem. The Taurus didn't jam it was just an issue with the firing pin.

I had a PT809. The problem you had may be due to a build up of gunk in the firing pin channel. Taurus' are known for coming from the factory with pieces of metal and grease in the channel. Remove the firing pin and spring and thoroughly clean the channel. It may help to increase the strike to get the ammo to detonate.
Was your dad's Glock jamming. I didn't think that was possible. lol

@mhfisc Thats exactly what I figured. After I cleaned the channel it worked great.
Yeah the Glock was jamming, I was shooting one-handed with a limp wrist just fooling around so it was my fault not the gun's.
