  • Very very nice review. Thank You!

  • good stuff mate, think your right far too many menus and real controllers are still the way forward at the moment.

  • Where can I listen to the mix of wir trafen uns in einem garten used in this vid?

  • You are right. They need to figure out how MULTI-TOUCH screens can ADD to what they already know, and the only thing that comes to mind is that the audience can see what you are doing, BUT you could accomplish that with a VIDEO CAM aimed at your DJ board and show a much NICER pic stream of that on a large screen monitor nearby, or projector.

  • Why wouldn't one just use the regular Traktor app with a touch screen? Why use the Emulator? Is it because most touch screens are Windows 7 specific?

  • Thanks for the selfless demo. Done very well, but now I'd like to see you showing us a mix of yours. Maybe it is not enjoyable enough to play but the advantage it has over controllers is that the audience can more easily understand your process.

  • Nice work on the review!!! Good conclusions too, absolutely consistent with what others are finding. Touch is the future of DJing just not touch as we know it today!

  • i was thinking something like this could work on a iPad if you could have 2 high-quality stereo outputs from it. but i guess the feeling of my Traktor S4 will still be much better than a flat surface.

You'd like to press hard and turn knobs and faders strongly. But with touch devices you have to be delicate. You might be faster but still not more precise than moving a small amount a volume or eq fader. plus if like to do beatjuggling you can't do it with this.

    thanks for doing this demo
