@forbesfoofighters My logic went like this, Rua beat Machida, Jones crushed Rua there for Jones beats Machida? Don't get me wrong, Its great seeing guys like Machida, Silva, Jones and Cung Le in MMA! I dig there application of "unorthodox" striking, more of TMA focus. I was getting tired of the basic, but effective MT/boxing thats been dominant for so long. @forbesfoofighters I agree and was actually telling someone this exact thing about me just winning in sparing with my reach. I wont get better like that and one day someone will have a longer reach then what (forgot to say someone with speed can also easily win). But i think people underestimate Bones because he doesnt just play the outside game.

@CFgroup1 being 6"4 and having an 84" wingspan can only carry you so far, jon (not john) jones has only 1 real elite win which is shogun who has never demonstrated a whole lot of cardio or take down defense. you cant just say oh i think jon jones would beat machida or rashad based on height. thats a flawed logic. if someone has enough speed, then a reach advantage will become a disadvantage. machida ko'd franklin when he was 3-0 and rich was 14-0 more impressive than jones 9 months of training.
