@mnvacation naw i miss hockey from the 70's and 80's myself...shit I actually watched the leafs win there last cup on tv when i was 6 yrs old.

Chicago fan, but these Minnesota announcers aren't bad. Solid. But yeah, the rivalry was amazing. These two teams went after each other like two bulls. Great games to listen to. Couldn't watch it in Chicago in those days.

Out of all the opponents my North Stars faced, I respected the Black Harks the most. Of the Harks, Al Secord was second to none. I sound like a bitter old man, but I miss those days.
By the way. Including that Toyota commercial was great!
