Interfaith Community Services Transitional Youth Academy (TYA) is a prevention and intervention program for high-risk youth, which offers intensive behavioral health and crisis intervention counseling, as well as case management, educational supportive services, vocational development, and life skills training.

TYA also runs the "Working Pirates" program at Oceanside High School, funded by the Workforce Investment Act. It provides academic and vocational services as well as gang prevention and intervention for low-income, high-risk ninth and tenth graders at Oceanside High School.

The main goals of TYA's youth programs are to promote positive self-esteem and mental health, support youth in building life skills, and help them develop the tools needed excel, prosper, and become successful in life.
