Nice to see how it was 4 years ago. Much is changed with Linux and Windows.

Both have improved. Windows 7 is one of the best operating systems. It is stable and it runs everything.

Lunix has improved a lot. It was already stable but it improved on suport in drivers and it is only getting better. It is also much user frendly than 4 years ago. the latest kernel that is used in the new distro's is just great. Linux made the biggest step forward.

I'm trying to convert my mom into a Linux user. xD I'm an Ubuntu girl at heart, and I really think I always will be. I'm hyped for 12.04, especially as it will have LTS(Alpha 1 is out now, Alpha 2 on 2nd Feb). If you've never used linux before give it a shot. Install it in a virtual machine, or install it to USB and boot from it. Just, I beg you, don't try to use Wubi...

@katsuneshinsengumi I would agree with that. Linux is an operating system that becomes very personal. Windows is more of just a computer. Its what comes with the pc and most people don't think about having any options.

for me when you got a linux in your machine it's more personal like no one should touch it other than you, if it's windows, it's like just a family computer,.
