Here's a rough cut of the full moon rise and moon set March 19-20, 2011. The orange moonrise was spectacular. I loved watching it actually move, marking its trajectory as it moved upward through the branches of a poplar tree. At approximately 6:15AM the moon glowed behind budding pussy willows; it's gray-silver-blue face eventually setting behind the split rail fence of my neighbors pasture. Just in time for me standing in slippers in a wet field. Now that's a way to feel alive, and, wake up! You might here the woodcock calling for his mate, a cardinal and killdeer talk too...and of course, even here in the NW corner of CT, still a bit rural, there is the low level hum of commuters driving on rt 4 and 63 headed for work, and a jet fly's over headed to Bradley International airport...I hope you enjoy a slow and easy 7 minutes videotaped across the street from my cabin on Pie Hill.
