He is absolutely beautiful. My Maine Coon Alex sounds just like him. Alex answers me too when i talk to him. Alex was up at the computer and sniffing the screen to see where the kitty was while i was playing your video.

@jzathey: Awwww he's so cute! I'm new to the Maine Coone group, i've only had Skidmark since last year and she is just now befriended me. My previous cat of 16 years died last year march :( Skid don't say all that much unless she's hungry, but she likes to sleep in my lap and claw at my chest when i'm on my laptop LOL

@lamby0707 It really depends on your desires. If you keep a MC indoors it will not grow an extremely dense coat. If they are outside all winter their coat will be quite thick as they have a winter undercoat that gets quite bushy - they handle the cold very well, having originated in the northeast.

@beardenbulldog7 Micmac was found in Mississauga Ontario Canada in 1998 at 6 months of age. A lot of maine coons look very similar. The lost kitty I'm fostering right now looks exactly like MM also except for more silver in her colouring. They really are beautiful cats; the best.

Maine Coons talk too much. My mom's Maine Coon is really close to her and whenever she says something to him, or even asks him a question, he gives her like seven sentences! He never shuts up LOL! I played this video when he was in my room, and he seemed to enjoy it, maybe because your cat's chatter sounds just like his LOL!

@pplsuq Yeah, my fiance is like that, extremely verbose. He spends 20 minutes answering a question that should take 30 seconds. Perhaps he's part maine coon... (ha ha).
