the ice gets 2 degrees hootter yes?
to heat water by 1 degree u requires same energy as to heat air by about 50. specific heat capacity.
if the air gets cooler then heat is removed, the heat is removed by the water/ice so its air to water.
this is very basic stuff.

@tpvalley its a battle of the energy's , the air dosnt heat the water and if is dose you need a new intercooler , you have to design it with enough stored energy to keep a stable temp line , or your tune willl change as it runs down the track, and we dont want that! in all of the water ice boxes i have done we see 2 deg change in water but a 120 to 180 deg change in air temp , if design right , energy path from water to air , but your probly right most out there are air to water and dont work .

@carlito70juanadiaz yeah !!! that's unreal ! that would be up there with the worlds fastest 13b turbo , you should be very proud ! you would have the puerto rico guys worried as they are the fastest in the world

@buamt 8.2 @ 176 MPH , so the MPH is very high as you can see so with this MPH should go 7.70
