Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Leopold Stokowski. Recorded April 28 and 30, 1927, this set is in the "buckram cloth" album which was issued sometime between 1927 and 1934 I'm informed. Played on my 1926 Granada (4-4).

I love Schubert's Unfinished symphony. I want to play this so badly. When I heard this I was very impressed. My favorite part of the first of movement is at 2:28 when the violas and the cellos play together. They sound so pretty when they play together. Great job and thank you so much for uploading :)

An excellent performance. I first got to know this work from a set of 78s - not Stokies, though! Many of his older recordings have been reissued on CD.
