Second Video of her. This one from Idle to "Take Off" . On her First Voyage in Florida I put 24 miles on the Trip. GPS showed Top Speed of 28 MPH. Only did about 10 minutes at Full Throttle during the Trip. . Rest of the time was at 3/4 speed (About 20 MPH) with Idle time at the 6 total Bridges I had to Traverse . How much Gas did I use in 24 Miles? A Total of 3 Gallons. That's 8 Miles Per Gallon!!! This is an "Old School" Outboard Motor. Larger Cubic Inches and Lower RPM. Today's Motors do not have a Chance at this Mileage. With this MPG I could make a Trip from the Beach Blvd. boat ramp to Saint Augustine and back on 6 Gallons of Gas. Thank you My Dear for Letting me take Custody and the Care of your Whaler.

  • That's a beautiful old Whaler you've got there and the motor is awesome as well. The condition is astounding. Those old OMC engines can run forever if you take care of them.
