Prof. Jim Patell discusses the course he co-teaches, Entrepreneurial Design for Extreme Affordability. At the end of the 2010 school year, students showcased the projects that they worked on throughout the course.

The course is unique in that it mixes engineers with medical and business students. Patell highlights some of the work done from a steam machine to more efficiently collect lemongrass oil to a baby blanket that will help counter jaundice.
