Barenboim conducting the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in a stellar performance of Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony in F minor for the opening concert of Carnegie Hall's 1997 season. Yes, that is the legendary Bud Herseth marshalling the CSO's incredible brass.

  • The beginning of this is such a horngasm.

  • This piece has an orgasmic bassoon part. I don't see why no one has mentioned that.

  • Lovely. But the flutes run in the clarinet solo piece (alot)! Great horns in the start, bassoon solo and clarinet solo, all round great =)

  • @nataliaamejia15 Practice. ;) I'm about to play it too...

  • This is a fantastic symphony and one of Tchaikovsky's greatest works. It's so vivid and powerful, and the part at 3:42 gives me goosebumps every time.

  • I'm kind of in a pickle, we're doing this for an orchestra- and I kind of scared!!! Don't know if I can do it!! Any tips??

  • @kitkatsy1

  • @VioLynn0803 haha

  • The beginning is taken a little too fast for me. But it still sounds amazing...<3
