  • Porn has me bound...and even now after all these years i still have moments with it. I see now that i am not totally free from porn. Please all you who believe pray for me that this stronghold be broken off me once and for all. I believe CHRIST is soon to return and i need to be righteous so i can be acceptable in his sight when he does. I don't wanna hear him say depart from me...i know you not. GOD is able to do all things because he has set me free from ciggs, drinking. Pray 4 me please.

  • @DaOrigTruthSeeker Christ said that some things can only be overcome with prayer and fasting. I've been lead to believe that the fasting part is not just food fasting - which leads to more self-control, but also a fast from things that lead us down the wrong path. Porn addiction isn't the main problem. Porn is the result of the seeds you've allowed to be sown. Start sowing good seeds, good habits. Morning worship, prayer, eating right, exercise, and dedication. I'll keep you in prayer.

  • im going through the same thing in my life porn has destory my life which made my relationship with my family n God distance they all feel uncomfortable around me because something dark has entered my body (demons) making my vision completely different i can even feel them from head to toes everyday giving me pain n i have been promising God that i would never do it again but still continue right now i have been doing it since i was 13/14 8yrs later im still struggling i need 2 kno how 2 stop it

  • @cleany18 I'd like to hear more of your story. But, on how to stop. Feed your spirit, not the flesh. Monitor everything you see, listen to, and eat. Everything is connected. Begin practicing good habits.

  • @Crazyokapimonkey2 Would you feel the same way if it was your daughter, girlfriend, or wife being mistreated, abused, and looked at like a sex object rather than a person? Is there ever a time after you've watched porn when you say or think to yourself - that just wasn't right? You know what else people say is good for the soul? Drinking, smoking, and premarital sex - how's that working out for us?

  • I am trying to find God and Jesus' he;lp. Ineed it desperately. Please pray for me!

  • I feel sorry for you. There is no god. Its only buddy!

  • @yourpapi001 'I do not believe in a personal god' - Einstein.

There's also a correlation, widely studied accross academia, especially the sciences; where atheists are in increasing percentage higher up the ladder.

  • @Hellsconsort

Even the most intelligent minds believe that there is indeed some supernatural power without religion there is no life no purpose. (examples albert einstein)

  • @rocksz1234 Just because you can't explain something that doesn't default it to 'god did it'. That's what you call a gap filler aguement, it's cheap and demotes enquiry. Which is more far fetched? God as an explaination, because everything in the natural world which is explained does not point to god and is largely a very detailed, rationalised theory.

  • @rocksz1234 It does not though, that's why it persecuted galileo, banned philosophy, bans condom use, fueled conflict in Serbia and what's now Croatia in ww2 and in Ireland still now, formerly persecuted gays, goes against womens rights. Women still don't have equal rights in the church, actively corrupts truth like when Eddington went against Newtons theory which left room for god or creationists now distorting what is basically explainable and solid.

  • @Hellsconsort Belief is important to live your life. Even if it's in the idea that there is no God. Not all religions dispenses with rational thought. In fact, Christianity values rationale thought in the sense that there are some things man's science can not explain, and in those areas you have to rely on faith and God. The bible, can be both rational and irrational depending on a person's perspective. But, which is more far fetched, believing that God created us... or the big bang?

  • @rocksz1234 The are all the same in that they are all forms of dogma and faith based belief systems, and do not value rational thought when this conflicts with their beliefs. Which, in practice is a great source of evil.
