I really like this concerto very much, and enjoy what Nakariakov is doing with the trumpet repetoire. I hope to one day play at least as half as good as Nakariakov. This is me just trying to learn as much as possible from his recordings. I don't have a teacher and I'm mostly self taught. However I would like to maybe get into a Music Conservatory. please rate and I would greatly appreciate any help. If you know any school that would be interested in taking me in please let me know.
thanks 4 watching! Dont forget to watch my other vids. they are all first takes FYI.

  • i wonder if thats fake?

  • hahhah. I'll take that as a compliment.

  • hey are you circlular breathing in this video?

  • since the ending is more than 360 notes circular breathing is necessary. I adjusted to taking 5 short breaths in places i felt confortable. In some parts of the vid you can actually hear it. thanks for watching!

  • well it doesnt sound like you are really breathing though. thats cool. i think that sergei nakariakov uses circular breathing in the ending too, but it sounds more like he is doing double tongue and circular breathing at the same time. do you have any idea how he is doing that? just wondering because i can do circular breathing but never while im tonguing.

  • its possible. but kind of hard to explain via text. add me on IM and i'll explain as much as possible. as soon as i fix my camara I'll put a vid on multiple tounging and circular breathing. there's only on catch, it can be done but only on small intervals. thats why i didn't do it on this vid (the slightly large intervals)

  • dude where did you get the sheet music ? could you please send me on private chat ? :)

  • Very nice staccato and breath control!!!!!!

  • That sounds really cool! I like it a lot. Subscribing...

  • Don't air out in the lower register, and try to get the spiccoto articulation that a violinist would play with.

    Use nice Light seperated tounging.

Give me your e-mail and i can send you a clip to show you exactly what i mean.
