It probably depends on the quality of the education you receive. I'm U.S. American and I don't ever remember being taught that the United States is the most important place in the world. It's mostly propaganda from the media that creates that general opinion amongst the ignorant masses. Besides, most Americans don't really pay attention in school (excluding college) anyway, and if you're actually interested in learning something, they look at you like you have a disease.

i promise that we are not all this stupid. whats unfair is that out of all the people interviewed for this (and all the correct answers people must have given), only the ignorant people are focused upon. pretty much everyone i know could have answered these questions correctly.
