here are some useful tweaks
----------------------------------------
Disable Mouse Smoothing
Go to your Steam Directory, then steamapps, common, skyrim and select Skyrim again. Create a backup of the SkyrimPrefs.ini file. Open the file, then scroll down to where it says [Controls] and find bMouseAcceleration=1. Change to bMouseAcceleration=0. Save, exit, and play.

Disable Vsync
Access the SkyrimPrefs.ini again and add iPresentInterval=0 to the bottom of the [Display] section. This can improve a sluggish framerate and eliminate instances of mouse lag.

Change field of view
Head to My Documents, select My Games, select Skyrim and then Skyrim again, then create a backup of the skyrim.ini file. Scroll down to [General] in the file and add fdefaultfov=XX (where XX is the field of view you want). Then save and exit.

(Fraps Notice)
remember that the clips in this video have been recorded with fraps which consumes a lot of resources from the cpu and gpu, so the framerate shown on the top left corner is only while recording and not while playing normally...

  • @MrGamerzz99 is it going to sleep mode while ur playing?

if so, then set it to high performance in the power settings and then try...

if u r manually putting it on sleep mode , then i suggest u restart the laptop and then play i guess...

  • @philhalo66

"i cant upload I'm running of my neighbors wireless"

"and i know a guy who runs his 4870 at 900MHz on stock voltages. so don't presume to tell me about my own card."

    GG trolling..

    have a nice day...

  • @tibrake i cant upload I'm running of my neighbors wireless, and its not called overclocking the voltage its called overvolting. since voltage does not run at a clock frequency. and i know a guy who runs his 4870 at 900MHz on stock voltages. so don't presume to tell me about my own card.

  • @philhalo66 toxic edition which is pre-overclocked to 780mhz which is just 30mhz ahead of the regular 4870 that i have and "as u claim" to have different cooling system but is still the same chip.. if u didnt know.. some people do overclock the voltage with watercooling.. if u overclocked with CCC or msi afterburner, then show me stable performance (dont really care abt temps) with 850mhz, since u know how to make and post videos on youtube..

if not, then dont claim such things.

  • @tibrake Lol considering you call it "overclocking the voltage" i'm going to assu, you dont know shit. i have the toxic edition from sapphire those are higher binned chips so they can overclock further.

  • @philhalo66 u cant go 850mhz without overclocking the voltage and not crashing, so prove that part and ill believe u .. =)

  • @tibrake mine is overclocked to 850MHz and it never breaks 60C but that might be because mine is the sapphire Toxic edition with significantly better cooling than the reference one.

  • @philhalo66 wen its overclocked as shown in this video.. fan is at 85% speed, but wen im playing any game, i leave it at stock clocks.. with 70% fan speed, temp dont go high with stock clocks..

  • 0.0 75C dude crank your fans up that card is cooking mine never breaks 60C even when i play on ultra
