Wow, not to be racist or to be politically argumentative, but obama hasnt done anything yet! If he does do something major as far as peace in the next few years, give him that prize! But not now! He hasnt accomplished anything so far, so yeah good job nobel guys, you totally screwed your medal.

Hello,im a little suprised too, but, what the hell...why not. Obama has as one of the most powerful humans on earth sent out really positive vibes too the world on this short time at the white house. So what is the problem! The price is meant for pepole that work for peace. Obama is one of those human beings and he deserves the price as good as any one else. Go Obama. From Norway.

I think they gave it to him because of what he represents, not for what he has accomplished, or what he might be able to accomplish in the future, obviously...not that i agree that he should have won it, I'm sure there's other people who are more deserving...but i think the Nobel peace price people where trying to prove something or believe that this president is capable of great things..only time will tell if he really deserves it :/
