This is my critique of the pure nonsense that hunchbacked produced regarding the Apollo Guidance Computer or (AGC).

He later removed his video and uploaded a slightly altered one, who knows why.

  • don't bother with Hunchbacked, he will not answer a direct question or acknowledge anything factual. He actually blocked me during a polite discussion over PROOF, I guess I was making too much sense when I mentioned the Surveyor-3 camera, the gloves came off and the name calling started, don't waste your time, he has no proof but will happily ignore any historical facts you may present, without evidence BTW, that's his hoaxer M.O.

thank you for posting this !!!

  • @1MtnBoy Yes, it's quite impossible to convince him that he's wrong about something unfortunately. If you actually do convince him, he'll just adjust his claim (with something just as wrong) and continue on. It's a complete wast of time to talk with him. First time I saw one of his picture anomaly videos I actually thought he was joking.

  • The emulator DOES prove something -- that the executable code runs!

That's what an emulator is for. It replaces the original Apollo computer hardware which is a lot harder to get than a modern personal computer.

The original executable Apollo code runs on the emulator "thinking" it's running on the real thing. You can punch keys on the simulated DSKY and read stuff off the display. I think that emulator also simulates some of the Apollo guidance hardware.

  • Apparently, HB is an expert photo analyst, and now an expert programmer from "back in the day." The fact that he doesn't know +0 = -0 in one's complement proves how competent he is in one of those fields and you've pretty well destroyed him in the other. I don't think I can bring myself to view his Part 2 or Part 3.

  • @rawmonkno1 lol, so true. he was copying links galore and not offering any explanation of the significance of his assertions, I asked him to explain one and he sent me a list of "anomalies" for the AGC, I replied one by one line by line and he promptly blocked me. LOL I guess I was not supposed to have more PC knowledge than him regarding Apollo, I think he is a joke personally, you cannot post anything that proves him wrong, he will block you and remove the comment from his page asap. coward.

  • thanks so much for creating this and posting the facts to respond to his catharsis.

there are SEVERAL quality books on the AGC I would wager my next paycheck he never bothered in his arrogance to even read one of them.

  • Hunchbacked is the Kent hovind of computer science

"H/b has very convincingly answered all your Non-Questions with veryy reasonable replies."

    - how can anyone answer Non-Questions?

  • @protogenxl I agree, for a presentation like this I would just as soon get it in plain text format -- much more compact and I can read it at my own pace.

As for the presentation itself: I have also tried to list hunchbacked's misconceptions but I just got overwhelmed. It is obvious to anyone that he's both utterly clueless and utterly unaware of his cluelessness. He's an absolutely stellar example of the Dunning-Kruger effect. I hope any prospective employer is able to see his videos.
