  • Wow only one through lane on I-70! Uncommon :-)

  • @aswchris Well, thre's the one through lane, and the other lane merging from the first exit in Wheeling before the tunnel, making it 2 through lanes after the tunnel.

  • Nice.

  • @Bryant5493 Thanks!

  • Love that route, it is on my list of things to film next time I'm up that way. Ouch that direct sunlight wreaked havoc with your focus near the end :P Excellent job all the way!

  • @Freewayjim Thank you! Not only that, my tripod needs shortened a bit, since it's VERY close to the windshield.

  • You are going right by my house in this video around mile marker 223

  • @jameskeefer0906 I have other hobbies too

  • My Town! Not a bad Video :)

  • I always thought I-68 through Cumberland, MD's downtown was weird(due to the truck prohibition and curvaceous route), but whoa at 2:52 and after the Fort Henry Bridge! Interesting rarity to see a brief portion of an interstate with one lane in a direction, and designed to fit an entrance and exit ramp right before the start of that tunnel. (plus possibly a historic brick building next to it) Very unique, and it is definitely funny to think I-470 isn't the mainline I-70.

  • the wife and I drive to St. Clairsville 3 or 4 times a year go to the mall been a thing since 1993

  • Nice video. I live in St. Clairsville, so I'm on 70 all the time haha. I never got the point of having I-470 til I figured out it was for when the tunnels were closed and so theres not so much traffic on 70, even though, there is hardly any traffic in Wheeling.

  • Excellent as always , man ... (West Virginia) seems like it has it´s good share of freeways..

  • Nice video. I love seeing this part of country. It seems pretty sad though, because I've heard that Wheeling was one of the hardest-hit areas from the industry leaving.

  • @FreewayAndrew

    You're welcome.

  • @FreewayAndrew I just checked that for you it's West Virginia.
