You obviously have never been inside a ring before. Each punch that lands takes a toll over time. In the 9th round both fighters are weaker than they were in the 1st and their faces/bodies have developed bruises by this time. Most of it is probably not noticeable but I assure you they can feel it. Muscles start to ache and each punch that you take makes you weaker because it takes a lot of strength and energy to defend against someone punching you. Punches that land take even more energy.

i watched this fight from round 1 to round 12 and i noticed that everytime marquez hurts pacquiao, pacquiao also hurts him in return.. this bout has been a seesaw battle for both fighters and i would love to see a rematch. pacquiao marquez 3!!

10-9 Pacquiao, close round but i give it to Manny for his aggression & for landing the crisper & more damaging blows & also for giving JMM a 2nd cut inside the eye which is caused by a Straight Left @ 1:45. other example of crisper shots are @ 1:10, 2:16, 3:20

well i wont argue with it.. because it was really a tough round to score.. its a true swing round. if i could score this round 10-10. i would, but a round can be given to only 1 fighter & rounds are not allowed to be scored as even or 10-10. like the actual fight.. judges are told that they should not score rounds as even they only have to give it to 1 fighter..
