Nice idea, but couldn't they just go through the redstone wiring...? I have an idea. Cover that up. At the spot where the redstone will be cut off, dont cover that with dirt, cover it with glass. It will look like the redstone is cut off. Have you ever had items get stuck in glass? That's because glass is considered nonsolid. That means redstone can go through it! try that. nice though, I put one in my house...
