Look on ebay, they are on there for £2.20, not expensive at all

You just multiplex the matrix. So essentially each LED gets power for a fraction of a second and then the next LED is selected and powered and so on and so forth. So if you did it with the minimum amount of hardware and wires then each of the 64 LEDs would be getting power 1/64th of the time. Which is more than enough to maintain persistence.

hi, how you set all the 64 led, if arduino have only 14 pins out and the matrix have 16 2 of 8?
