Teen Faces Jail Time for Fight With Bus Driver

Only one person involved in a school bus brawl in Gilbert, Arizona will be prosecuted. Fifteen-year-old Samantha Taylor of Gilbert has been charged with one count of disorderly conduct after fighting with a bus driver. (April 1)

Kaaay, let me explain something people don't seem to understand. The bus driver and the school are liable for every student on that bus so they CAN'T let the girl off at a random area. The girl is the one who decided to get up, cause a scene and then assault the bus driver.

If you watch the full video, you'll see the bus driver take her phone after she dialed her mom. And then the last time the teenager tries retrieve it, she pulls the teenager's hair.

smdh... the girl shouldnt have acted that way but if any adult puts their hands on my child i would be seeing the bus driver about round 2 adult to adult not adult to teen. it is not illegal to talk on the phone while on the bus. but that teen should have just gotten off that bus after she got hit the first time and sue the school district for her phone and assault on a minor

@brandy248403 Watch the whole video sometimes. You can clearly see the driver hitting the student first, AND taking away possessions. The DRIVER started the fight.

And did you know the bus driver pulled over and yelled at the girl for quietly talking on the phone? The girl felt that that was unfair and wanted off. The driver (in the longer version of the tape) clearly hit her without the girl even TOUCHING the driver, and then took her phone, threw it and broke it. Sure she was a brat but I believer the bus driver is more in the wrong here.

She wouldn't let her off, I understand that. But the bus driver physically hit her even when she didn't touch the bus driver. They're both in the wrong here. I have nothing to say about the drivers daughter. But you can see clearly in the long version of the video that the girl didn't touch the driver, only after 1. The driver touched her and 2. The driver took her property and broke it.
