Note that none of the payments were in a single UK pound note !!!. That is the problem with the British mentality of being entitled to host you think you can throw out your 100 year old stadiums and pay nothing to host . All the sponsors except Adidas are either from America or Asia and you don't hear President Obama or the leaders of Japan or South Korea being denied hosting 2022 !! The amount of money coming from McDonalds , Coca Cola and Visa being American companies should piss off Obama.

I've just read a huge article from a brazilian magazine. It sort of draws Teixeira's profile. The journalist who wrote it spent a whole day with him in Zurich and even attended a meeting along with members of the south american confederations and their families. It describes a joke made by Teixeira asking Leoz where was his crown, referring to the claims that he required a title in order to vote for England, then Leoz gesticulates with the hands above his head like if he was being crowned.

It's not about the UK loosing the bid, it's the manner of the 'fix', as said before: two decisions in one day, man up bru, you have no argument here.
