Story, Seeker and I in our first spring trial after a long winter of 'down time'. The start to our 2010 season...! Here is to more great trials...

It was great to get out and compete with my friends from Helena and beyond and to have fun running my dogs.

Story is just as honest as they come and a 'rush' to compete with. He is like having a 'steam train' for a partner, fast, powerful, and 100% there with you

Seeker is coming along, for a young guy I think he is doing great and I am proud of him. He is as light as a feather when he runs, and he runs fast and with great intensity. But as his motto goes... "should I listen to you...or the voices in my head..."

  • @nancyspore

I'm up for it Nancy !!!

  • I am not sure. Twisted my knee real good on President's Day and I am still healing. I don't think that I will even start unitl May or even June. We are not sure what is completely wrong with it. It has been getting better, but it hurts to straighten my leg out, so I'm walking a bit funny. :-) If I even remotely twist - Yowzah!

  • there is a 'contact zone' at the bottom of the contacts that the dogs must touch in order to qualify. For some dogs that are 'turbo charged' it is helpful to get good speed and then collect so you can qualify...

  • If speed is part of the game what's the point of making the dog wait before some of the hurdles?
