New Genration for me. It's one of those solos that wasn't put there for the sake of it, it kinda means something that words can't artciulate. Happiness and looking foward to things. I'm shite at explaining it.

There wasn't a single memorable guitar solo from Suede after Bernard left the group.

The interesting thing for me is that some of BB's work (ie, He's Dead and Animal Nitrate) sound better live than the recorded versions.

Whipsnade?

the final solo on "so young" it's amazing too!

his solo is like when you take morphine too much and you play the guitar and record it for the whole days.. thats how it sounds.
-
Suede is the BEST!
-
I'd have Animal Nitrate at number 1.
-
Props for including "Fallen Idol".

Does anyone remember Chris Morris doing an impression of We Are The Pigs as played by Neil Young?
Brilliant.

@howdycaptain63 eloquently put. I'll check it out

@edwardpeach On the whole no but try 6.05 - 6.45, We are the pigs. Most definatley a solo. Not as in the playing of lots of notes but as in the bursting release of emotions and telling of a whole story through music

But...isn´t Richard Oakes the one on New Generation solo?

No, he appeared in video to NG, but music on Dog Man Star was written by Butler.

I'm not criticising the content of this list but just wondered why you chose a top 9 and not top 10? Hell with BB you could of had a top 50!
