This recap video is longer than most videos but well worth watching. Learn about HODR and how we help after natural disasters.
From June 23 - October 25th 2008 Hands On Disaster Response volunteers helped parts of Iowa recover and rebuild following massive June flooding. 2000+ volunteers teamed up and made progress everyday. This video was produced for PCR's closing event.

Hey Bill, Jeremy, Jon and the rest of the HODR crew - You all helped out Palo and CR so much. If it weren't for all the sacrificial giving of your physical help and positive emotional support through the June 2008 flood we wouldn't be near as far as we are now. You have selflessly served others and willingly shared what you know and do well with those in Linn County so we can continue in the rebuilding which, as you know, will take several years. We were blessed to have you in Palo & CR.
