@bygota If you've played GT3 and GT4 and invested in a PS3 because you want GT5 you're going to be disappointed I think. Some things are good (graphics, online, updates, weather, slight damage) but it's just not as strong as its predecessors comparitively speaking.

The GT4 AI was much better than the GT5 AI. It seems now they can only overtake if they have a power advantage down a straight. They won't try different lines or try outbreaking you like in this video.
