In this clip, only Rafi's version is sad. Kishore's version is when Hema goes back to happy memories related to this song - means happy song from Kishore. Pls note that Rafi was voted as the Voice of the millenium in 2001 by a big majority (about 70%) of Indians.

kishore da ke version ke aage rafi ka yeh gaana bekaar hai. kishore ka version rafi ke muqable bahoot jyaada chala hai. sach to sach hi rahega

Wonderful post. very beautiful song. One of the last few Shankar jaikishan music scores to become hit, i think. The voice of mohammed rafi sounds so full and mature on shammi kapoor in all the songs , truly he never sang for himself only for the actors performing on screen.

looool@ deccanheart we are talking about rafi and kishore, and your eyes is on hema malini, u should stop looking at females and concentrate on rafis voice. Hema malini is married to dharminder and if he finds out he will eat u alive.
