Greg Hildebrandt created this beautiful pinup girl, life size, on black suede for the top of a poker table for a tournament. It is the largest pinup he has painted. Greg had a blast painting her. He says it is his equivalent to black velvet art.

Hi Greg- Truly inspirational work. Question: How do you keep the acrylic paint on the foil from drying out while your working? Do you add any medium to your paint? Do you spray it with a water mister? THANKS.

Greg, thank you for the view into your technique. After my father retired from the Disney animation department, he had several techniques comparable to yours. His real skill was as a cartoonist,however.

I love your pinup art, reminds me of my first peeks at Vargas in Playboy 40 years ago.
