In this nail-biting episode of TGIS: Joanne-Marie proves how saving your phone from water damage can be simple with a few quick tips. Don't lose hope, because while this isn't a sure-fire way to revive your precious handset when it takes a dive into the deep, it will increase the chances of it being revived with ordinary stuff you can find around the house.

If it falls in salt water, you just clean it out with fresh water, and then dry it out.

  • DON'T TRY TO DO THIS IF THE PHONE DROP IN SEA WATER. SALT DESTROY THE CIRCUITS INMEDIATELY.

  • CHECK OUT A TABLET FULLY SUBMERGED IN WATER AND STILL STREAMING A VIDO WIFI CONNECTED, IT WAS TOO FUNNY!!!

IT'S ON MY CHANNEL UNDER " Water Proof! Pantech Element Tablet From AT&T Totally Underwater"

  • @OneCoolDude08 hahahahaha!

  • I want to make sweet love to that lifeguard! Amazing thighs! Also, why do the Chinese solve all their problems with rice?

  • your fucking chinky :L

  • i would rather purchase xperia active

  • my phone was in the water for 5-10mins, its in a jar of rice now, do u think it will be saved, enen though it was in their for longer then 5 mins?

  • heloo? :\

  • This method does work but success rate still depends on various factors. Eg. different type of liquids, whether corrosion/short circuit occurred etc.

There are cases where phones are not completely submerged in water and could work for awhile/days and then suddenly shut off. This would be a sign of corrosion/short circuit and would require professional help to recover your phone.

For the iPhone 4, the battery can be removed or disconnected by removing just 3 screws.

    Cheers.
