  • Sorry, I just thought of a few more questions:

How does zeroing and tool size fit in to it?

For example, are all tools the same length so it can be hard coded or is there a sensor to determine this?

Is the top of the PCB considered 0 on the Z axis? if not, how is the software told where the top is and how deep to drill when routing tracks?

  • Very nice.

Does this machine have auto tool change or is it a manual? I ask only because it seemed so quick and the video didn't appear to pause during the last change.

Is this a home made machine or a prebuilt/kit?

What type of interface are you using? ie LPT, serial, USB?

  • You could put a piece of tape on the drill bit, it will blow the swarf away as it spins.

  • You really need to remove the cutoffs somehow. Its just making cutting and drilling harder. You might just snap the drill bit :|

    Great work :D

  • i like Sophie.

  • A nice setup with a good display of where it's machining.

    Re Firefox mug...Well spotted... 8-)
