Pride, a Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue, practices impulse control, loose leash walking, backing, socialization and focus and attention. Pride is 7 months old in this video. We adopted him when he was 5 months old. When we saw him for the first time, he was so shy and nervous. He would steal treats from my hand and run away. I could not even touch him that first meeting. He has made excellent progress in 2 months. Our priority continues to be creating positive socialization experiences. You can see some of that in this video. Today, he played the recall game with a stranger for the first time. Progress. :-)

Visit ClickerDogs channel for more info on Susan Garrett's "Crate Games." Tug exercise is from Susan Garrett's book, Ruff Love. Visit klickerklok's channel to find out why I'm walking backwards. :-)

We are having so much fun training. Thank you for watching.

  • Pride is sweet, and Rounder too! Great video, great training!

There is so nice weather! We have a lot of snow. :/ But my dog likes it.

Let me ask a question... How did you teach "bubbles" to Chase (if I am correct he was in that video)? That is a special trick, which I was never seen before...

  • @Tigracica I sent you a message with links to videos that show how to teach this. Have fun. :-)
