watch this for even more beautiful words of Chaplin

  • @darrenkunkel Even before our time too.

  • "If we are to truly evolve and see humanity's greatest potential, and if we are ALL to unite with each other on a level that has not yet been seen, then the EGO needs to die. That is a struggle that we all deal with every day, especially when confidence, cockiness, and arrogance are always rewarded. But, we are starting to realize this and we are turning corner. 2012 does not represent when the world will end, but a true point of enlightenment for all of humanity", Royal Hoax.

  • Fuck. This is deep. Chaplin had it going on way before his time.

  • @loftymuses humans aren't inherently good either; besides, the system is not THAT bad, it has problems but its as bad as people say it is.,

  • @delgande Scientific progress isn't inheritly good. You're clearly a victim of the system.

  • @Popsmakdown And what system allows great liars to achieve absolute power? Democracy. Hitler won elections time and time again by promising a job for every man and stressed the need for social security provided by the government.

"[In Democracy] he who knows how most skillfully to make this 'public opinion' serve his own interests becomes forthwith master in the State" - Hitler

  • scientific progress requires cleverness; he said cleverness should be replaced with 'feeling'

  • @Cyrus255 Such leaders could not come to power if every action they took seemed sinister, I agree with what your saying that people need to make an opinion for themselves rather than just take the word of others that Hitler was as evil as he was but it is equally important to remember that people will lie about their beliefs to put themselves into positions of power.

  • @Cyrus255 yea, but he also was responsible for the deaths of almost 60 million people
