this skit illustrates the sad state of the Malay language in Malaysia, Brunei and the Malay community in Singapore, esp. in the upper-middle class enclaves. Becoming more 'rojak' and quickly losing its distinctiveness because its native speakers and governing body hasn't been doing a good job upkeeping it. Indeed it had borrowed from various languages but that's supposed to be for importing new concepts into the Malayosphere, unlike supplanting our rich Malay pronouns with 'I' and 'you'.
