The CDMP 6000 by Gemini is an all-in-one dual CD player/MP3 player and mixer designed for beginners or mobile DJs. The main draw to this system is it's capability to play MP3 CDs or play MP3s off of a USB flash drive. There is an intuitive scroll wheel included that makes navigating folders and files a breeze. The system also includes many desirable features that are uncommon for a system of this price range. Seamless loop, scratch, BPM counter, and variable pitch settings are all features that are hard to find on a single system at this value. None of these features are phenomenal in function, however they do work and gives the user options while DJing. The overall build quality is good, resulting in a strong system with solid parts. The buttons and switches are of good quality, providing a positive click when utilized. This system is great for beginners or mobile DJs looking for something to mix songs with at parties or other gigs. Despite minor setbacks in functionality (cuing the track to the beginning of the song, for example) this is a good system and I would recommend it to someone entering the hobby of DJing.

  • what system would you prefer first time DJs to buy/? I'm more interested in Club and Trance,House etc type DJing.. any ideas?

    Budget : 1500$

  • @princedeAfghun Is that budget also for speakers, subs, lights, etc.? Because that will make a big difference.

  • Stupid question maybe but do you need an amplifier with this device or is that build in?

  • @DJNadijah Yes, you either need to hook it up to an amplifier or strait to self-powered speakers.

  • so this system doesnt have the brake and reverse effect like the cdm 3610 had?

  • @BattleChyld No, unfortunately not. However, the ability to use USB flashdrives is a huge improvement, in my opinion.

  • i think to buy this mixete a think its greate for mobile djs

  • @Suchtla1 Beatmatching is all done manually on this system. Check out my video how to beatmatch with the CDMP6000 to see how I do it.

  • @PistoleroGordito In order to set up a cue point you must use the play/pause button to choose what spot you want the cue. If you didn't ever hit the pause button while the song was playing then there is no set cue point. The cue button will default to bringing you back to the beginning of the track and pausing the song. Also, that slight misstep in the beginning of certain tracks is consistently present on some tracks, and absent in others.

  • 5:39 you may have set a cue point

  • Do you have to do the transitions with your hearing ?

Or is there a tool for Sync. ?

    Sry for my english ^^
