-
Hey Generikib could you make a tutorial for us? I know you said you wouldn't but why not ask you.
-
Awesome design mate, liking it a lot!
Btw, my button was there only to provide a means of activating the pistons. And guilty on the circuitry behind, it's the design I use by default. Need to change the habits :D
-
@Keviths there's a thing called a Block Update Detector (BUD) switch that will trigger a redstone circuit every time something next to it updates (in this case, when the sugar cane grows). So when the sugarcane hits full height, the BUD switch activates and powers all the harvesting pistons. Check out my video on "upward firing BUD switch" to see more info.

How do sugarcane active your pistons?
-
@gruosd those are my infinite water item conveyors. Check out my channel I have a video dedicated just to how to make them!
-
what is the water canal behind you i want to know
-
@TheSpictor it's a matter of preference I guess...I'd rather receive a full harvest every time
too bad sugar can is practicaly useless other than to make cakes XD

i see you have water adjecent to the sugarcane, but shouldn't the water fill a 1x1 hole when sugarcane needs to grow???
MyNameIsMrTroll 2 months ago
@MyNameIsMrTroll nope, as long as there is some kind of water next to the sugarcane it will grow, even flowing water counts!

do u have to use stick pistones?
DrunkenCheetahh 2 months ago
@DrunkenCheetahh you don't have to, but I like to just in case sugarcane likes to glitch through the piston arm sometimes
