@iceskaterrn Fist pump was arrogant esp after someone falls. Poor sportsmanship on the part of Yagudin. Michael was a good skater, but the problem was his slide technique on the triple axel never gave him the correct amount of height on it, and it always landed awkwardly....He didnt have the technique or polish of Goebel, who indeed was the best US men's skater of that quad. Weiss' bronze medals in worlds for me were amid a weak field. He didnt deserve the berth in 02.

I love the fist pump Alexei. What went wrong Mikey is this: you are good, but Alexei is GREAT, as we all saw confirmed, much to Plushy's embarassment, in Salt Lake!

This was one of Mikes most embarassing moments cause his pants ripped when he fell on the quad lol. U can see the small white hole on his butt when he's walking away.

I've always found he and his wife to be very arrogant. He never gave credit that was due to other skaters. Both of his world medals were by default. So glad he is gone now.
