The incidence of cancer and its prevalence in populations, cancer being an unsustainable biological phenomenon, is caused by the unsustainable quantitative growth encouraged by unhealthy political and economic systems which are manifestations of unsustainable, in the long run, social systems.
Capitalism is the most efficient and fairest economic system but still nonetheless unsustainable.
I´m reading the book "The Hidden Connections" and found this video while searching something from Capra. Very interesting reflection, and the comparison between an unlimited economic growth and the process of cancer is very significant. Nowadays, we must come back to basics in many ways if we want to survive as human kind. Thanks for sharing.
