The Bibles are based on older texts, fables, myths and legends. Does that mean the Koran also confirms those older religions and beliefs?
Example:
Surah 21:30 reads: ...the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder....
Sumerian creation myth:
When heaven had moved away from the earth,
And earth had separated from heaven
